In the first part of this article, I introduced you to bonus veren and discussed its origin in Philippine casinos. I said that this particular card game is not typical to American casino games. The second article explained why I felt it was a good introduction to gaming in the Philippines. Now, I will tell you why I believe bonus veren is a favorite card game for casino players in the Philippines.
Bonus veren siteler is not just a traditional old school style casino game. It is also not just a card where the player has to answer yes or no. In fact, bonus veren siteler is much more than that. First, you have to answer questions depending on what you are playing.
This may seem trivial but I will explain it anyway. One example, if you play a three card stud with two on the table and one in the middle, you will still be asked a question whether you know the five cards dealt. However, if you know the five cards dealt, then you can choose to either (a) pass the bet or (b) say, “I think there is another card.” If you pass the bet, then the opponent can either call or raise. If they call, your three card stud is yours and you can either call again or raise.
There are two different kinds of bonus siteler, the open and the closed. The open bonus siteler, is one where you do not know what is in your box. The closed bonus siteler is where you get to look inside before you take your bet. Both are simple games and both are fun.
Bonus veren sitelerin is an easy game for new players and for some experienced players as well. The basic rule is that you get 5 coins when you bet. After you win and open your second box, you see that the inside has two more coins. So you go back to your box and bet two more coins. Once you win you open the third box, and once again you find that there are more inside. You then bet three more coins and you win!
The traditional favorite is the oldu unu bonus veren sitelerin which is played in the traditional village-style casinos. This game is played by the players sitting opposite each other in an oval shaped room, with tables placed around the perimeter and players seated at the four corners of the room. The objective of this game is for you and your opponent to win. The objective also happens to be the same for all players playing bu yaz (oldu unu) and olan bir (bedava bonus veren). The result is for you to open three boxes, and for each other player to open two boxes.
